Aubrey Shamel is a twenty-one year-old pop fusion artist, originally from Lewisville, NC who is best described as a mix of Adele and P!nk and John Mayer. Her pure, soulful voice and unique writing style is a mix of pop, rock and r&b. An accomplished guitarist and pianist, Aubrey commands the stage as a seasoned performer, integrating vocals with dynamic musicianship. She has won several awards in North Carolina, placing first at fiddler’s conventions, voted Best of the Triad in 2011, and Best of Local Flavors for WBFJ radio in 2012. Aubrey’s early influences include Ella Fitzgerald, Pink, and Coldplay. Aubrey moved to Nashville in 2013 to pursue her career in music, and now performs and writes with some of Nashville’s most accomplished songwriters, including Byron Hill, Pat and Pete Luboff, Ralph Murphy, and Matt Scullion, among others.
